Installation Instructions Windows 95 or Windows 98 To Install · Begin at the Windows desktop. · Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. · Arthur's Adventures with D.W. startup window will appear. · Click the Install button and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. If the Arthur's Adventures with D.W. startup window does not appear automatically on screen, you can install the program manually: · Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run. · Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Open. (If your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that letter for D.) · Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions to install Arthur's Adventures with D.W.. To Play After successfully installing the program, click the Run button at the startup window to start the program. The startup window will usually appear each time the CD-ROM is inserted into the CD-ROM drive. If the Arthur's Adventures with D.W. startup window does not appear automatically on screen: · Begin at the Windows desktop. · Click the Start button, point to Programs, and then to The Learning Company. · Click the Arthur's Adventures with D.W. menu item to start the program. To Remove If you need to remove Arthur's Adventures with D.W., begin at the Windows desktop. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Click the Install/Uninstall tab and select Arthur's Adventures with D.W. from the list of programs. Click the Add/Remove... button and then click the Yes button to remove the program. Click OK to clear the screen. *********************************************************************** 2. Troubleshooting Program minimizes to taskbar when printing. HEWLETT PACKARD PRINTERS A solution is to launch the HP Toolbox utility before starting the program. To do this: · Begin at the Windows desktop. · Click the Start button, point to Programs, then to HP Deskjet Utilities and select the HP Deskjet Toolbox for your specific printer. · When the application is displayed on the screen, minimize it to the taskbar by clicking on the "-" button in the upper-right corner of the program window. Once the Toolbox is on the taskbar, you should be able to run the program and print without it minimizing. EPSON PRINTERS · Begin at the Windows desktop. · Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then select Printers. · Right-click the Epson Printer icon and select Properties. · Click the Utilities tab · Click the button labeled Epson Status Monitor to open Status Dialog. · Click the "-" button in the upper-right corner of the program window. Once the Status Dialog is on the taskbar, you should be able to run the program and print without it minimizing. *********************************************************************** 3.
